France strengthening its support to AMIS
The French Ministry of Agriculture, Agrifood, and Forestry signed a new grant agreement with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to support the work of the AMIS Secretariat. The grant, which will be channelled through the AMIS Multi-Donor Trust Fund, will support activities to enhance engagement with AMIS participating countries and improve outreach to other stakeholders in global food markets. France held the G20 Presidency when AMIS was launched by the G20 in 2011 and has since been a firm supporter of the initiative.
