Tracking export restrictions and sanctions

The overall surge in agricultural commodity prices observed over the last year, coupled with uncertainties arising from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, have revived the threat of export restrictions, and the negative consequences these may have on agricultural markets.
Moderated by AMIS interim Secretary, Joe Glauber, this webinar on Tracking Export Restrictions and Sanctions provided insights into the current state of trade resricting measures in the agriculture sector, featuring presentations by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Trade Organization (WTO), the International Grains Council (IGC), the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
